Updates to the Wellness Points Program

Since COVID-19 affected our March Step Challenge as well as the way we have been able to receive medical care over the past few months, we have adjusted the Wellness Points Program to reflect those changes. Please see the below notes and changes to the program and reach out to Michele O’Dell (Micheleo@atlanticpkg.com) or your branch wellness coordinator with any questions. You can also find the updated Wellness Points Program Guide here.

Reminders and Notes about the Wellness Points Program

  • The 2019 – 2020 Points Program will still end on August 31st. As a reminder, to receive the insurance premium discount for the next plan year (2020 – 2021), you must accumulate 100 wellness points by August 31st.
  • March Step Challenge points will still be awarded although challenge was shortened due to Covid-19
    • Anyone who achieved the goal of the 8,000-daily average during the March step challenge (March 2nd – 13th) will receive the allotted points (you should see them post in June).
    • The list of participants who met the daily average and will receive points can be found here.

Updates to the Wellness Points Program

  • Biometric Screenings have been removed from the required list of activities and moved to the list of optional activates. For the remainder of the 2019 – 2020 year ending on August 31st, the required activities will be:
    • Health History Risk Assessment (HHRA)
    • Comprehensive Health Review with a health coach (CHR)
  • We increased the point values of the Health History Risk Assessment (HHRA) and Comprehensive Health Review with a health coach (CHR)  from 10 points each to 20 points each. This is to compensate for the fact that a lot of employees have been unable to have scheduled preventative health exams or physicals during the past few months.

Again, if you have any questions please reach out to Michele O’Dell (Micheleo@atlanticpkg.com) or your branch coordinator. Thank you!
