Your Marathon Health Coaches

With our health coaches coming onsite to our branches in the next few months, I thought it would be a good time to reintroduce them. As a reminder, you can call them anytime to book your required Comprehensive Health Review appointment (10 wellness points) or a health coaching appointment (2 health coaching appointments for 50 wellness points).

My name is Brittany Canady. Nursing is my passion, I have always wanted to be a Nurse Practitioner and care for my community. I have been a nurse for 11 years. I have worked as a Primary Care Provider in Whiteville, NC for the past 4+ years. I grew up in Whiteville, went to Whiteville High School and attended East Carolina University for Nursing school and a Doctorate. I have a “Doctor of Nursing Practice” degree, which basically means I am a Family Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate. I have known Ms. Jefferys for a long time, she was my educator in high school and my mentor throughout my nursing career. She is the reason I am working here today and hope I can continue in her footsteps here. I live on a farm and take care of horses, goats, and chickens. I love anything outdoors, including but not limited to hunting, fishing, gardening, farming, etc. I am a wife and mother to a little girl named Georgia who is almost 3. I am excited to work here at Atlantic Packaging with Marathon Health. I love what I do and will strive to provide exceptional care here at Atlantic.

Luana Heidemann
224-301-0519

My name is Luana Heidemann, CMA, CHC. I was born and raised in Chicago but currently live in Pompano Beach, FL. For the last 17 years I have been focused on contributing to the healthcare industry by improving the lives of my patients, my team and myself. I started out as a Medical Assistant working in Internal Medicine for 7 years. During that time I regularly worked with many specialists as a Medical Assistant and as a Spanish speaking interpreter. During that time I realized that good health is not achieved by accident, it is a result of a series of good decisions and actions. I started with Marathon almost 10 years ago and with their focus on helping people make these good decisions I have seen first-hand how it can improve the lives of the patients we work with. This is what motivated me to become a Health Coach. I want to help our patients lead long and healthy lives.
